A: The broaching machine and tools are made specially as per your products. Please provide before and after broaching drawings for evaluation.Q3: What is the lead time? A: It depends on size and how complicated the broaching machine is. Normally, it takes 45 to 75 days to completed a machine under 8 ton. For bigger or more complicated machines, it might take 60 to 180 days.Q4: Can broaching be applied to any hardness? A: Tool life is good when hardness of the product is under HRC 25. When hardness is above HRC 25, tool life will be reduced significantly. Broaching is not recommanded if the hardness is more than HRC 32.Q5: Is it possible to clean the broach tool automatically? A: Yes. The auto tool cleaning device is designed according to the shape of the broach tool.Q6: In addition to broaching machines, do you supply jigs and broach tools? A: Yes. We supply broaching machine, jigs, & broach tools as a turn key solution.Q7: How to adjust broaching speed? A: In hydraulic broaching machines, adjust the flow control valve. A: The standard voltage is 3 phase, 220 V, 60 Hz. The voltage can be customized as per customer's requirements.Q19: How do you fit the height of the broaching machine into container? A: You can stand on stairs to operate. A: It is majorly because of the broach tools are much longer than other kinds of tools. A: There is a counter on the machine to calculate life of a single tool. When the machine is equipped with Human-machine interface (HMI), life of different tools can be managed together.Q35: How to adjust the total pressure limit? A: Rotate clockwise to increase, rotate counter-clockwise to decrease.Q36: Would the puller slide fall down due to its weight? A: No. There is counter balance pressure to support the puller slide.Q37: In auto puller, what to do if the jaws are not opened? A: Adjust the position of the origin, let the puller cover be pressed within suitable range. So that the jaws could be opened by the pressed spring.Q38: In hydraulic puller, what to do if the jaws are not opened? A: It depends on coolant condition. The coolant shall be changed when there is color change, bad smell, or other bad condition.Q50: In winter morning, the hydraulic broaching machine become “lazy”, why? A: The efficiency of hydraulic system is influenced by oil temperature. Please run empty cycles on the machine for some time to raise the oil temperature.Q51: There is a burr at puller surface, I can’t put the broach tool into it. A: Please use a sand paper or hand polisher to clear the burr. The precision of the puller will remain same.Q52: What is the standard safety accessory on hydraulic broaching machines? A: Both-hand start bottoms. Other safety accessories are optional.Q53: What is the standard safety accessories on electromechanical table up broaching machines? A: They are built as per CE standard.Q54: What is the lead time for broaches? A: It depends on how difficult to make the tools. A: The work piece sensor is included in standard accessories. If the work piece wasn’t removed after broaching, the machine will not run the return process.Q58: Can we broach full outer diameter in surface broaching? Like the shape of gear? A: Generally not. The work piece has to be well clamped during surface broaching. Therefore, the angle of broaching is better within 180 degree.Q59: What is keyway broaching jig, a.k.a. “tool holder”? A: It is made as per hole diameter and broach tool size. The broach is stably held for one-side cutting.Q60: Can we integrate the rotary table on the broaching machine? A: Yes. The rotary table is used for reducing loading / unloading time to few seconds. It makes the broaching machine work in better efficiency.Q61: How many days does it take to learn how to operate and maintain the broaching machine? A: It takes only 2 days (not including traveling time).Q62: Can I do broaching in blind holes? A: No. Broaching is for through holes only.
